The BootCamp ensures that they have a good foundation and prepares them for their upcoming PSLE.

If you are reading this - you could be wondering how to help your child improve in their mathematics, given that they did not do well in their recent tests or have been struggling.
Many P6 students struggle with Mathematics because they lack a strong foundation and understanding of concepts introduced in P4 and P5. Learning gaps and weaknesses then start to accumulate over the years, and when left unaddressed, students will struggle from P4 till their PSLE.
Just like building a house, you need to ensure a strong foundation. If the foundation is weak, when you stack more things on top of it, it will collapse.
Our GPA P4/P5 Headstart BootCamp is designed to prevent this.
The P4/P5 Headstart BootCamp ensures a strong foundation (3 x Mastery Modules) and allows students to start ahead (1 x Headstart Module). To ensure that the students are able to understand the concepts taught, a Mock Test is held at the end of the BootCamp. It is then graded and reviewed on the spot, addressing any possible learning gaps.
Students can also opt to sit for an Assessment Test before the BootCamp is conducted to get an indicator of their current academic performance. This is then graded and returned with feedback that addresses their gaps and areas of improvement.
Afterwards, students can opt for a 1-1 Post-BootCamp Consult as well.
Your child will have access to the best materials available in the BootCamp, published by the Founders of Genius Plus Academy, who are also the Authors of Textbooks published by a major local publisher.
What’s included in the
P4/P5 Headstart BootCamp?
Assessment Test
(Optional)
Students can opt for a Pre-BootCamp Assessment Test based on the 3 Key Topics. This allows students to gauge their level of understanding of the topics. The Assessment Test is to be submitted before the Headstart BootCamp is conducted. It will be graded and returned with feedback on any learning gaps & pointers from our tutors.

1x Headstart Module
Tutors will be teaching:
covering the content and concepts followed by application to questions. Students will attempt questions ranging from foundation questions to more challenging questions.
(Total of 1 x 2 hours)
Graded Mock Test
The graded mock test is an hour long and will be conducted during the BootCamp under examination conditions. This mock test will be based on the 4 topics covered. This is followed by immediate marking, analysis and feedback from our Principal tutors. Tutors will go through the mock test afterwards, and address specific issues or misconceptions.

Recorded Lessons
The P4 Headstart BootCamp will be recorded and uploaded onto our Learning Management System after the BootCamp has ended. Students will be able to access our state-of-the-art Learning Management System, where they will be able to watch and review the lessons at their convenience.

3x Mastery Modules
Students will first recap the following topics:
with the notes provided by our Principal Tutors. They will then be drilled in content and skills, exposed to the type of questions tested in the PSLE, and taught how to answer such questions.

Comprehensive Materials Set
Their materials will be provided in the form of a booklet before the start of the Headstart BootCamp. These booklets will include detailed notes, a variety of questions, and answers.

1-1 Post-BootCamp Consult
(Optional)
This 1-1 Post-BootCamp consult is an hour long and can be conducted either onsite or via Zoom with our tutors. Based on the mock test and assessment test (if opted for it before the BootCamp), tutors will be able to analyse any specific issues that the student is experiencing and address any learning gaps.
With this service, your child will receive an in-depth analysis of their strengths and weaknesses and recommended strategies for improvement based on their mock test and assessment test.
