(a) Ans: Cindy, Beth

(b) Ans: $2.40

$0.50 - $0.10 = $0.40
$0.40 × 6 = $2.40

(c) Ans: 23

Amount of money Beth had left → 15 × $0.10 = $1.50
Amount of money Cindy had → $1.50 + $10 = $11.50
No. of coins Cindy had → $11.50 ÷ $0.50 = 23
