Ans: 21
6 gaps → 26cm - 14cm = 12cm
1 gap → 12cm ÷ 6 = 2cm
1/2m = 50cm
1 cone → 14cm - 2cm - 2cm = 10cm
No. of gaps → (50cm - 10cm) ÷ 2cm = 20
No. of cones that he can pack → 20 + 1 = 21
OR
50cm - 26cm = 24cm
No. of cones to pack → 9 + (24cm ÷ 2cm) = 21
