PSLE Math 2020 Paper 2 Question 16

PSLE Math notes comparing geometric shapes, area, and perimeter; good for Primary 6 exam-style questions and visual learners.

a) Ans: 16 cm^2
Area of paper -> 15 x 25 = 375
Area of 6 triangles -> 375 - 279 = 96
Area of 1 triangle -> 96 ÷ 6 = 16

b) Ans: 19 cm
PS + QR -> 15 + 15 = 30 (lost)
Gain (blue) -> 30 + 54 = 84
Perimeter of 6 triangles -> 84 + 30 = 114
Perimeter of 1 triange -> 114 ÷ 6 = 19
