(Rate of Flow of Water Line Graph Question)

PSLE Math 2023 Paper 2 Question 7

Handwritten notes with calculations about water flow, with sections labeled a, b, and c, including numbers, units, and arithmetic operations, written in blue and purple ink on lined paper.

a) 1000 –(5 min)-> 1005
Amount of water flowed out = 92L - 76L
= 16L
5 min → 16L
1 min → 16L ÷ 5 = 3.2L

b) At 1005, Tap B was turned on.

c) 1005 –(10 min)-> 1015
Rate of Tap A & Tap B → 60L ÷ 10 min
= 6L/min
Rate of Tap B → 6L/min - 3.2L/min
= 2.8L/min
